Pagan Altar

Founded in 1978 Pagan Altar has been a cult band ever since. Formed by father and son Terry and Alan Jones they’ve always had a unique take on doom-laden heavy rock. Since the passing of Terry in 2015, Alan decided to continue with American singer Brendan Radigan (of Sumerlands amongst others). Two more full-lengths have been released since then. We are glad they return to Dutch Doom Days after their appearance in 2007.

Façade

This edition of DDD at the new Baroeg venue needs Façade to be part of it. Their brand of doom/death that crosses the borders of the genre is fantastic. And needs to be heard. A proper reason to invite them again. In 2025 they released a new EP and a new full-length is in the works. Will we hear any new material?

Sordid Empire

The journey of Dutch Blackened Doom/Death band Sordid Empire started in 2023 with the objective to express the inexpressible. Emotions darker and more illusive than words can captivate are captured in songs with haunting and mesmerizing music, that finds its roots in ambient doom, death and avant garde metal.
